About the Role
As a Benefits Verification Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of patient prescription orders by reputed company resolving insurance-reputed company issues. This primarily work-from-home position requires a strong and diverse skillset, including excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems and portals. Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1+ year of experience in a reputed company environment, with experience in medical insurance, benefits verification, or medical billing.
- 1+ year of experience with reputed company-based applications like reputed company Office (Outlook, reputed company, Teams, Word).
- 1+ year of computer keyboarding experience and skills.
- A reputed company/hardwired internet reputed company to a modem/router reputed company 10 feet of the computer with a minimum download speed of 25 mbs and upload speed of 3 mbs.
- Residency reputed company 75 miles of Buffalo Grove, IL, as you'll be required to attend a 4-week new hire training onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:
- Pharmacy or reputed company Benefits experience.
- Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations.
- Experience with various insurance plans (PPO, HMO, EPO, POS, Medicare, reputed company).
- Experience reading and understanding medical policy information.
- Experience receiving inbound calls and making outbound calls to explain insurance benefits.
