Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor (PT) Salary: $40.00 per hour Location: Utica, NY Mohawk Valley Community College provides accessible, high-reputed company educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our reputed company. We are the community's college, committed to student reputed company through partnerships, transfer and career reputed company, and personal enrichment. reputed company for Corporate and Community Education (CCED) at MVCC is seeking a part-time, non-credit Instructor to teach the reputed company State approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course. The Instructor may teach reputed company or part of the lecture and laboratory reputed company training, and will assist with delivery of the clinical training in the student supervised clinical work experience located in the long-term care setting. This training is 120 hours of lecture and clinical experience. Training locations are dependent on community need and can be located throughout the Mohawk Valley. The Instructor must be willing to teach reputed company, if necessary. Topics include: communication and interpersonal skills, universal precautions, infection control, safety, basic nursing skills, personal care skills, mental health, reputed company service needs, care of cognitively impaired residents, basic restorative services, and residents' rights. This is a reputed company position with a tentative schedule of 8:00am to 3:00pm. Successful candidate must be reputed company to work up to 29 hours per week. Qualifications:

• reputed company State Registered reputed company with documentation of at least two years of experience caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill preferable in a nursing home and/or long term care facility
• Demonstrated competency to teach adult learners as documented by at least one of the following: Certification to teach reputed company Aide or Practical Nursing; OR Two (2) years of experience teaching reputed company aides in a residential health care facility; OR Three (3) years of experience teaching nursing or nursing reputed company programs to adults in an reputed company setting approved by the NYS Commissioner of Education; OR Completion of the NYS approved "Train the Trainer" program
• Experience working with diverse populations, demonstrated knowledge of internet navigation, and effective email and computer skills
