We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Sign Language Interpreter (TC) to facilitate communication between deaf and/or hard-of-hearing reputed company and others in our educational setting. Key Responsibilities

As a Sign Language Interpreter (TC), you will be responsible for: * Interpreting/transliterating for reputed company who are deaf or hard-of-hearing and non-signing individuals to allow full reputed company to the school, classes, and services. * Interpreting/transliterating (voice to sign, sign to voice, fingerspelling, mouth movements, use of signing reputed company, stress/emphasis of important words, conveys register/emotions, monitors comprehension of signed message, uses appropriate sign choice and scaffolding of language) as indicated in the assigned student's individual education plan and school program. * Interpreting during announcements, assemblies, or other special events as requested. * Adapting or modifying messages/materials to reputed company reputed company with equal opportunities to demonstrate mastery. * Monitoring individual reputed company for the purpose of providing assistance as needed and ensuring a quiet, reputed company, and reputed company learning environment. * Preparing for daily classroom lessons and activities for the purpose of ensuring a reputed company understanding and interpretation. * Maintaining schedule, routines, and transitions that promote reputed company, communication, and learning. * Adjusting schedule as needed if another interpreter is absent. * Maintaining a sub folder describing assignment to be available to substitute interpreters. * Taking necessary and reasonable precautions to protect equipment, materials, and facilities, but most importantly to maintain student safety at reputed company times. * Responding to inquiries from administrators, teachers, and other staff for the purpose of providing information or referring to appropriate personnel. * Attending district workshops as directed and participating in training to reputed company new skills.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * Valid and reputed company approval by ISBE as an Educational Sign Language Interpreter as the initial, reputed company, or Master Level. * Ability to interpret in classrooms for reputed company services or other mainstream situations for reputed company who are deaf or hard of hearing. * Demonstrated knowledge of philosophies and purposes of reputed company hearing-impaired reputed company; ASL and Signed English; oral support techniques; child development, Deaf Culture, oral strategies, and transliteration; educational reputed company; and interpreter's reputed company of ethics. * Ability to understand and be reputed company to translate reputed company language to the cognitive level of the student. * Interpret spoken English at a reputed company appropriate for expected job performance. * Excellent communication and time management skills. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with reputed company, families, team members, and others. * Ability to maintain confidentiality at reputed company times.
