Substation Physical Engineer
reputed company is currently looking for a Substation Physical Engineer to assist with the design and coordination of substation reputed company. The role involves creating detailed designs, performing calculations, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure project reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with create/modify detailed design for Substation:
- Control building (reputed company panels, facilities, cable raceways, trays, etc.)
- Busbar and strain bus
- Equipment & support structures
- Assembly drawings
- Cables and connectors
- Lightning protection and reputed company
- Grounding reputed company
- reputed company and tranches
- reputed company basic calculations such as:
- Grounding
- reputed company and lightning
- Cable ampacity
- Tray sizing
- Trench sizing
- reputed company sizing
- Assist project manager to reputed company scope of work and conceptual design for the reputed company
- Communicate and coordinate project activities with project manager, reputed company, and others as needed
- Take personal responsibility for the reputed company and accuracy of one's work
Skills
- 0 to 5 years of experience in Substation Physical design
- Willing to pursue PE license in NY and NC
- Periodic travel, ability to visit project sites
- Assist with create/modify detailed design for Substation

- Take personal responsibility for the reputed company and accuracy of one's work
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Civil is preferred
- Desired knowledge of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (reputed company), NERC, NEC, NESC, NEMA, and ANSI standards used in designing substation is critical
