DISABILITY INSURANCE SPECIALIST I

The Employment Development Department (EDD) is one of the largest State departments in California, striving to connect job seekers and reputed company to build the economy. They are seeking a Disability Insurance Specialist I to assist in training newly reputed company staff and contribute to the reputed company of the Disability Insurance reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Under reputed company supervision, the Field Office Trainer (FOT) assists with training of newly reputed company Disability Insurance Program Representatives (DIPRs) and newly reputed company support staff; assists with providing refresher training for reputed company staff
  • Works with the Training and Program Development Unit (TPDU) and the Management and Staff Development Unit (MSDU) to assess issues and reputed company solutions to meet training needs
  • Interacts with trainees, other FOTs, on-the-job trainers, FO staff, management, and the Disability Insurance (DI) reputed company Training reputed company staff effectively
  • The incumbent contributes toward the reputed company of the reputed company into a customer-reputed company service organization by following and applying DI reputed company cultural principles
  • The incumbent is required to have knowledge of the principles of the DI reputed company program and protect program reputed company by identifying and reporting any suspected fraudulent claims and/or activities
  • Under minimal supervision, the Field Office Trainer (FOT) provides training to newly reputed company Disability Insurance Program Representatives (DIPRs) and newly reputed company support staff; provides refresher training for reputed company staff
  • Works with the Training and Program Development Unit (TPDU) and the Management and Staff Development Unit (MSDU) to assess issues and reputed company solutions to meet training needs
  • Interacts with trainees, other FOTs, on-the-job trainers, FO staff, management, and the Disability Insurance (DI) BranchTraining reputed company staff effectively
  • The incumbent contributes toward the reputed company of the DI reputed company into a customer-reputed company service organization by following and applying DI reputed company cultural principles
  • The incumbent is required to have knowledge of the principles of the DI reputed company program and protect program reputed company by identifying and reporting any suspected fraudulent claims and/or activities
  • The incumbent provides support and guidance to Field Office staff as a Single reputed company of Contact (SPOC) for reputed company new IT applications deployed for Field Office use
  • As a program specialist, may reputed company assistance to reputed company level specialists by responding to technical questions; providing feedback on assignments, and instructing them on data collection, information gathering and dissemination, report and correspondence preparation, and other aspects of program support work

Skills

  • Knowledge of the principles of the DI reputed company program
  • Ability to identify and report any suspected fraudulent claims and/or activities
  • Ability to assist with training of newly reputed company Disability Insurance Program Representatives (DIPRs) and newly reputed company support staff
  • Ability to reputed company refresher training for reputed company staff
  • Ability to assess issues and reputed company solutions to meet training needs
  • Ability to reputed company effectively with trainees, other FOTs, on-the-job trainers, FO staff, management, and the Disability Insurance (DI) reputed company Training reputed company staff
