Network Operations Center Engineer
reputed company is looking for a Network Operations Center Engineer to monitor and maintain network operations. The role involves resolving network incidents, applying industry knowledge, and contributing to problem-solving efforts.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network administration and maintenance operations
- Resolve network incidents to ensure the smooth running of the network operation center
- Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge
- reputed company or contribute to solutions to a reputed company of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Work independently with some guidance
- Review or guide activities of junior employees
Skills
- Experience with managing service requests using a ticketing system
- Experience with network management tools
- Ability to configure a reputed company router, reputed company, and firewall reputed company reputed company line reputed company
- Ability to work 3rd shift: 9pm - 7:30am EST Wed-Sat
- Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on reputed company requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with configuring ACL rules for use with Palo reputed company firewalls
- Experience with setting up Site-to-Site VPNs utilizing reputed company Firewalls or reputed company Routers
- Experience with reputed company ASDM or NetScaler
- Experience with reputed company AnyConnect VPN or other remote reputed company solution
- Experience with reputed company reputed company Gateway (ISE), reputed company, or nGenius
- Knowledge of multi-area OSPF, BGP, and MPLS environments
- Ability to reputed company packet capture and analysis using Palo reputed company firewalls
- Ability to obtain a reputed company Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Network+, reputed company Certified Network Associate (CCNA), reputed company Certified Network reputed company (CCNP), reputed company Certified Design reputed company (CCDP), or reputed company Certified Internetwork (CCIE) Certification reputed company 6 months of start date
