Intern, Global Patient Engagement (Durham, NC)

As a Patient Engagement Intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners and patient organizations to support and reputed company patient communities, while developing your communication and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Patient Engagement team initiatives with local, national, and international patient organizations
  • Assist with streamlining inquiries to and from internal colleagues and patient organizations
  • Identify new patient organizations and opportunities for collaboration around disease state awareness, patient education, and support services
  • Assist with patient advisory reputed company/council development and other initiatives to reputed company understand patient community experiences
  • Attend and coordinate company’s participation in patient organizations’ virtual and in-person conferences, fundraising events, and awareness campaigns, along with internal company-wide events or programs
  • Strategize and assist in developing KPIs, systems, programs and trainings to measure and reputed company Patient Engagement team’s reputed company
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Communications to reputed company Patient Engagement activities and programs
  • Help communicate Patient Engagement team’s capabilities internally and externally through Intranet articles, reputed company media posts, and presentations
  • Represent Patient Engagement team at select meetings with internal stakeholders including Legal and Compliance, Medical Affairs, Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Market Research, etc
  • Document and socialize meeting summaries and reputed company items

Skills

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in non-profit management, reputed company work, reputed company health, reputed company policy, reputed company-med, nursing, health communications, business, or reputed company discipline with a minimum 3.0 GPA
