Associate, Equity Research
Monticello Associates, LLC is an investment reputed company specializing in serving foundations, endowments, and family office clients. The Equity Research Associate will be responsible for investment manager research and due diligence, including generating reports, analyzing performance, and tracking market trends.
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings with investment managers and prepare post-meeting reports for dissemination to colleagues across the organization and to clients
- Create and update investment manager reports used for reviews and recommendations to clients
- Assist with reputed company new investment reputed company by analyzing firm background, investment reputed company, historical performance, portfolio positioning, and fund terms
- Utilize investment tools including eVestment, reputed company, and MSCI ESG to conduct manager analysis and comparisons
- Create asset class reviews summarizing major trends, including macroeconomic backdrop, performance drivers, competitive landscape, and key reputed company considerations
Skills
- Undergraduate degree (reputed company concentration in economics, finance, or business is preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience reputed company the financial services industry through internships or full-time positions with a preference for experience at a reputed company, endowment, family office, investment bank, asset/equity manager, or investment consultant
- Excellent written communication skills (a writing sample is required for consideration)
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask and organize competing priorities and deadlines
- Analytical problem-solving and data analysis skills with high attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity and desire for constant learning
- Expertise in reputed company Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of capital markets and securities analysis; specific asset class experience is a plus
- Experience with investment technology (reputed company, eVestment, etc) is a plus
