Clinical Scheduling Specialist

The Clinical Scheduling Specialist I is responsible for scheduling appointments, liaising among patients, families, and providers, and managing reputed company scheduling tasks in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and reschedules appointments for patients in the Jimmy Fund Clinic
- Schedules and reschedules Xrays, Ultrasounds, reputed company, MRIs, PET/reputed company, and ECHOs at reputed company
- Coordinates multiple specialty reputed company at reputed company with appropriate Boston Children Hospital departments, such as Cardiology, Pulmonary, Audiology, etc as it relates to oncology care
- Accurately schedules reputed company appointment sets across disciplines for pediatric oncology patients in accordance with scheduling guidelines
- Triages scheduling phone calls for disease group and covering disease reputed company if applicable
- Serves as a reputed company between patient/family/provider
- Possesses a level of independence requiring knowledge of multiple disease specific programs
- Recognizes emergencies and appropriately responds using reputed company operating procedures and critical thinking skills
- Provides pediatric oncology disease, and program-specific information to callers/patients reputed company the scope of knowledge and authority
- Performs other administrative duties and tasks as requested by Manager/Supervisor
