Compliance Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan data from mortgage documents, including Mortgage, Note, Right of Rescission, Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, Good Faith Estimate, 1003, and appraisal.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy in reviewing Hud-1, Closing Disclosures, Loan Estimates, TIL, and other mortgage disclosures.
• Capture settlement fees for state and federal testing.
• Identify potential issues in the reputed company administrative process and compliance irregularities reputed company the loan file.
• Manage personal workflow to meet daily volume and reputed company targets.
• Evaluate the disclosure process, ensuring reputed company delivery, timing, verbiage, and completeness of reputed company State and Federal documentation.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in reviewing TRID loans originated Post 10/3/2015, with the approved 1.0 Scope and/or 3.0 Scope.
• Strong knowledge of TRID Documents.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Technical Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in any area of the residential mortgage industry with familiarity with mortgage origination documents.
