Brokerage Operations Associate

The Brokerage Operations Associate will play a key role in the Operations team, managing daily brokerage operations and ensuring compliance with operational procedures and risk controls.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily brokerage operations tasks/ workflows, including cash, position, and trading reconciliations to ensure that reputed company operational procedures and risk controls are followed, documented, and properly maintained
  • Ensuring the reputed company settlement of reputed company trades and underlying reputed company allocations, including resolving reputed company and street reputed company breaks
  • Review and reconcile house accounts
  • Process trade bookings and cancel/rebills
  • Process, monitor and troubleshoot ACATs
  • Ensure accuracy of reputed company positions, cash and broker data on firm systems
  • reputed company ongoing user account maintenance and review of new and existing account activity
  • Monitor and manage mandatory and/or voluntary corporate reputed company events including dividends and interest payments
  • reputed company support to Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to establish, monitor and manage key risk indicators for reputed company functions
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through automation
  • Participate in project work, including needs assessment, to build out and reputed company operational and technology platforms, including QA cycles

Skills

  • 1-3 years of brokerage operations/trading experience
  • Knowledge of Equities trading, clearance, ACATS, and settlement
  • Margin experience a plus
  • Technology-driven with a reputed company on the application of operational procedures and automation
  • Understanding of reputed company and SEC Regulatory reputed company
  • reputed company Series 99 required
  • Series 7, 63
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or quantitative field
  • Advanced skills in MS reputed company
  • Intermediate skills in SQL and VBA/Macros
  • Series 57 or ability to obtain reputed company 90 days
