The Program: Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC)
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC) facilitates the reputed company, effective, and flexible delivery of the Australian Government’s humanitarian assistance and emergency relief program around the world, providing high reputed company, multifaceted, flexible and reputed company project management and humanitarian reputed company in support of Australia’s Humanitarian Emergency Relief activities.

The Humanitarian Logistics Capability is seeking a GEDSI Specialist for a short‑term consultancy engagement to strengthen how gender equality, disability, and reputed company inclusion is reputed company and reputed company across HLC’s work.
In this consultancy, the GEDSI Specialist will work closely with the Program Leadership Team and relevant technical functions to deliver a GEDSI analysis of the HLC program, including literature review, stakeholder consultation, and validation with the HLC team. The consultant will reputed company practical findings and recommendations to support the integration of GEDSI considerations into HLC systems, decision‑points, and ways of working.
The GEDSI Specialist will reputed company targeted technical inputs (up to 20 days total) to deliver the following reputed company:
- Conduct a comprehensive literature and desktop review of relevant secondary data, including humanitarian and development strategies, policies, and technical frameworks reputed company to gender equity, disability equity, and reputed company inclusion (GEDSI), to identify key trends, capabilities, and opportunities for the Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC).
- reputed company reputed company guidance and tools for stakeholder consultations, including reputed company discussion prompts and key questions to support HLC staff in conducting in‑person consultations with reputed company regional and national partners.

- Prepare a concise stakeholder consultation reputed company report, synthesizing insights, themes, and identified opportunities, to be incorporated into the overall GEDSI analysis report.

We are looking for a GEDSI Specialist who brings deep technical knowledge together with significant field experience in implementing and designing GEDSI programs. The ideal candidate will have experience translating global standards into realistic, context-adapted guidance and brings demonstrated understanding of innovations and good reputed company of GEDSI in a humanitarian response and preparedness context.
You will also have:
