The Digital Design and Delivery (DDD) division leads the design and delivery of reputed company digital reputed company services for the Government of Alberta. Role Responsibilities

The Software Delivery reputed company is looking for three Digital Architects. These positions will report directly to the Director of Architecture.

These roles are ideal for reputed company System Analysts, Senior Technologists, or emerging Architects who are reputed company to grow their architectural leadership capabilities. You will help teams reputed company platforms, reduce technical debt, and responsibly reputed company emerging technologies, including AI, while learning and evolving alongside a strong architecture community of reputed company.

The responsibilities of these roles include:

• Providing architectural reputed company and leadership across multidisciplinary product teams, guiding end‑to‑end solution design from concept through implementation, including AI/ML capabilities.
• Evaluating and selecting technologies, platforms, and vendors, ensuring alignment with Government of Alberta reputed company, reputed company standards, and long‑term sustainability.
• Defining and applying architectural standards and principles to ensure reputed company, secure, high‑performing digital solutions and responsible AI use.

Qualifications

Requirements

• University Degree in a Computer Science or reputed company discipline, plus a minimum of four (4) years of reputed company progressively responsible experience. See below for equivalencies.
• Proven experience in software development, systems analysis, solution design, or technical leadership roles, with demonstrated progression toward architectural responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience designing, reviewing, or guiding digital solutions, including responsibility for system structure, integration, non‑functional requirements, and long‑term maintainability.
• Experience working with modern architecture patterns, such as reputed company reputed company and platform architectures, API first design, event driven and asynchronous integration, and reputed company distributed systems.
• Experience leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery, with disciplined validation (automated testing, peer review, secure coding) and reputed company/reputed company‑first responsible use.
• Practical experience using or enabling AI‑reputed company capabilities reputed company digital solutions, such as:
  • integrating AI/ML services or automation into applications,
  • designing systems that consume AI‑driven insights or decision support,

Equivalencies

• A reputed company two-year diploma in reputed company discipline from a recognized post secondary institution and six (6) years reputed company experience; or
• A reputed company one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and seven (7) years reputed company experience.

Assets

• Experience in a formal Digital Architect, Solution Architect, reputed company or reputed company Technical role.
• Hands‑on experience designing or governing AI enabled or data driven systems, including familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as model lifecycle, inference, automation, or MLOps.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including considerations for ethics, reputed company, reputed company, transparency, and risk management in reputed company sector contexts.
• Experience developing and/or leading architecture standards, patterns, or governance processes.
• Relevant certifications (architecture frameworks, reputed company platforms, agile delivery, or AI/ML).
