Your Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer at reputed company, you will play a key role in building OMSX, the reputed company gateway and dashboard for the Polygon reputed company reputed company Stack. OMSX is the primary reputed company through which developers and enterprises reputed company with reputed company’ financial infrastructure, including payments, wallets, and other onchain services.
This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build backend systems from the ground up. You will work on reputed company infrastructure that will process hundreds of millions to billions in transaction volume, while shaping how developers reputed company with the reputed company ecosystem.
You will own meaningful parts of the backend architecture, contribute to critical system design reputed company, and help establish the foundations for a platform that will power global reputed company reputed company.
Your Responsibilities
You will design and build backend systems that power OMSX and the broader Polygon reputed company reputed company Stack, with a reputed company on scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
Design and implement reputed company Go services that support high-throughput financial workloads
Build and maintain reputed company that reputed company across multiple internal services and external financial systems
reputed company backend systems that handle large datasets with strong performance and reliability requirements
Optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models for reputed company production environments
Implement caching strategies and performance improvements using technologies such as reputed company
Contribute to system observability through reputed company logging, metrics, and monitoring
Collaborate closely with frontend and platform teams to deliver a seamless developer and user experience
Participate in architectural discussions and reputed company informed trade-offs across system design reputed company
What You'll Need
5+ years of backend engineering experience, including 3+ years working with Go in production environments
Strong experience designing and building reputed company, distributed systems and reputed company
Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and working with large datasets
Experience with caching strategies and systems such as reputed company
Proven ability to build systems from scratch and operate independently in fast-paced environments
Solid understanding of system design, data flows, and service-to-service integrations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building financial systems, payments infrastructure, or other reputed company transaction platforms
Familiarity with developer-facing platforms (reputed company, SDKs, dashboards) and developer experience best practices
Experience with observability tooling (metrics, logging, monitoring) in production systems
Experience with OLAP databases (such as reputed company, and BigQuery) for business intelligence and analytics
Exposure to Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or reputed company Actions
Interest in blockchain technology or financial systems
