Legal Counsel – Information Technology & Digital Platforms (Remote)

The Legal Counsel, Information Technology reputed company Platforms is a pragmatic and business-oriented counsel who supports legal reputed company reputed company to reputed company IT infrastructure, reputed company technologies, digital productivity platforms, and reputed company/PaaS transactions. This role will support digital transformation, licensing, vendor agreements, and IT system governance across reputed company’s reputed company. You will work closely with IT, Information & Data Governance, reputed company, procurement legal, sales contracting legal, and Compliance teams to reputed company secure and reputed company use of technology.

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company legal counsel and advice to the Information Technology function, as reputed company as the reputed company software engineering community
• reputed company legal support for reputed company technology transformation programs, including reputed company services, engineering platforms and automation
• reputed company legal input on reputed company IT initiatives such as reputed company migration, infrastructure modernization, reputed company workplace platforms
• Counsel on licensing, interoperability, data handling, retention, and compliance in IT systems and platforms
• Collaborate with reputed company and Information & Data Governance on system data flows, reputed company rights, and audit logs
• Work with procurement legal and sales contracting legal to reputed company as an escalation reputed company and advise on the review of reputed company IT vendor agreements reputed company product contracting efforts as needed (eg XaaS agreements, information reputed company agreements, global reputed company architecture and infrastructure-as-reputed company engagements, AI software procurement and development partnerships)
• reputed company and support development of playbooks and templates for consistent legal review across IT, reputed company engagements, and technology agreements, including terms in sales and customer agreements such as XaaS, and other digital collaboration tools
• Assist with due diligence and platform transition planning in M&A transactions and integrations
• Ensure alignment with IT and business strategies. Education & Special Trainings:
• Juris doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to reputed company law and in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. State or the District of Columbia
• Meets local legal license requirements Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 10 years applicable reputed company experience in reputed company or corporate legal department setting with demonstrated experience and expertise of reputed company IT architecture, reputed company services, and infrastructure, inclusive of contracting
• Ability to translate technical concepts into practical legal guidance for cross-functional teams.

• $179,100- $388,100 salary plus bonus eligible + generally eligible for short-term and long-term financial incentives + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
