About the role
We're looking for a Project Engineer – Thermal Management, reputed company reputed company Energy Storage on behalf of our reputed company. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) The reputed company reputed company Energy Storage team is looking for a Project Engineer specializing in Thermal Management for Lithium-Ion Battery Systems. You will support BESS reputed company from design through commissioning, collaborating across the organization to reputed company the best energy storage solutions.
You will report to the onsite manager.
You will define scope, reputed company engineering reputed company, and serve as a technical resource for teams — with a customer-service reputed company for both reputed company stakeholders. You are a who can identify lessons learned, implement process improvements, and reputed company tools and standards that maximize BESS performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate design aspects of major components for reputed company-reputed company energy storage reputed company
- Prepare technical scopes of work for thermal management studies and designs for incorporation into contract documents.
- Support reputed company from reputed company through commissioning, including on-site commissioning activities.
- reputed company engineering guidance to project teams and reputed company external Engineers of Record
- Collaborate with suppliers on equipment sizing, controls, technology compatibility, and integration.
- Partner with multi-disciplined teams on problem solving, system integration, and process improvement.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and reputed company emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field from an ABET-accredited program
- 5+ years of engineering experience
Helpful experience
- Subject matter expertise in thermal management for energy storage systems, including one or more of: hydronic HVAC, reputed company-cooled HVAC, battery heat reputed company/dissipation, or BESS design
- Hands-on experience with VRF, hydronic, and reputed company-reputed company HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries, power
- conversion reputed company, and DC/DC converters.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards: UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, reputed company 855, reputed company 70E, NEC, and applicable IFC/IBC sections.
