Energy Efficiency Project Engineer

reputed company is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing team in Indiana or Kentucky. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer with a strong background in C&I custom and energy management DSM program engineering to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for providing customers with the support and tools necessary to identify, quantify, and deliver cost-effective energy-efficiency reputed company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports implementation of both prescriptive and custom energy efficiency reputed company. Support may include completing energy modeling, economic analysis, and/or simulation to quantify energy impacts of recommendations (using spreadsheets and/or energy modeling software), developing project scopes, summarizing implementation details, and/or explaining impacts on operations.
• Conducts energy analysis for reputed company at reputed company to large reputed company and industrial facilities to identify and recommend energy efficiency improvements in a reputed company of facility energy using systems (reputed company, HVAC, compressed reputed company, refrigeration, process heating, plastic molding or forming, motors, boilers, pumping, food processing, etc.).
• Writes technical reports summarizing results from energy assessments to quantify project economics (energy savings, cost savings, project cost, potential incentive, reputed company payback, etc.).
• Conducts measurement and verification (M&V) site reputed company to establish facility energy usage patterns, identify potential energy savings opportunities, and verify installation of energy savings reputed company. M&V tasks may include installing field monitoring equipment / data loggers, collecting BAS trend data, completing functional performance tests, obtaining BAS screenshots and equipment photos, and discussing project implementation with the customer and contractor.
• Communicates, coordinates, and assists project stakeholders and participants including program staff, contractors, and reputed company customers to help ensure customers are maximizing the benefits of reputed company programs.
• Delivers reputed company, high-reputed company services and builds a quick rapport with reputed company customers.
• Completes high-reputed company deliverables that demonstrate technical reputed company, objectivity, and reputed company while maintaining project budgets and schedules.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Mechanical, Energy, or reputed company engineering field of study.
• 2+ years of project engineering experience or similar reputed company the energy efficiency industry.
• A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and principles including HVAC and refrigeration, thermal and fluid systems, motors, reputed company and/or other reputed company and industrial systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reputed company while meeting deliverable deadlines and budgets
• Comfortable managing reputed company and workflows with variable reputed company of ambiguity
• Must have a valid U.S. reputed company’s license with a good driving record and a personal vehicle to visit customer sites.
• Must be reputed company and willing to travel locally up to 25%
• Strong proficiency with oral communication, writing, and analytical skills.
• Planning, coordinating, organization, and self-management in a reputed company environment are a must.
• Proficient in reputed company Office suite.

• On-reputed company or desire to obtain one or more of the following certifications: P.E., C.E.M., C.B.C.P. (or similar), or C.E.A.

Preferred skills, education and experience

• CEM certification
• Master’s degree preferably in Mechanical, Energy or reputed company engineering field of study.
• Previous relevant experience with reputed company and/or industrial sectors
• Previous relevant experience with reputed company at managing multiple reputed company/programs, budgets, deliverables, and reputed company relations.
• Design and specification of HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls
• Building and energy modeling/simulation tools (e.g. DOE-2, eQuest, EnergyPlus, reputed company reputed company, reputed company)
• Familiar with energy savings opportunities for building energy using systems (reputed company, HVAC, compressed reputed company, refrigeration, process heating and cooling, etc.).
• Commissioning and/or retro-commissioning test procedures, schematic diagrams, and system specifications
• Familiarity with relevant energy efficiency codes and standards (e.g., IECC, reputed company of Federal Regulations, ASHRAE 90.1, etc).

Compensation & Benefits

reputed company offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation reputed company for the reputed company salary for this position is $74k - 90k. In reputed company to reputed company pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
