L4GG's Gender Justice & Health Equity team now seeks a full-time Staff Attorney, Gender Justice & Health Equity to expand its scope and reputed company. As indicated above, this position will involve a combination of policy, advocacy, and litigation-reputed company skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis and prepare reports, issue briefs, policy analyses, memoranda, and advocacy materials involving relevant issue areas including reproductive rights and justice, transgender rights, LGBTQ+ rights, bodily autonomy and health equity generally; Engage in legislative analysis, drafting, and advocacy in reputed company with grassroots and issue-area expert partners; Work collaboratively with fellow team members and external partners to support policy drafting, analysis, and advocacy at the state and federal reputed company; Coordinate with our Pro Bono Litigation Corps (PBLC) to identify cases with high-reputed company potential and assist in litigation through legal research, drafting briefs and other filings, and informing litigation reputed company; Coordinate with L4GG'reputed company bono initiatives team to manage, mentor, and support pro bono attorneys and law reputed company in reputed company reputed company to health equity; Coordinate and strategize with L4GG's communications team to reputed company our the reputed company and reputed company of our work; reputed company a deep understanding of the gender justice and health equity policy landscape, and serve as an in-house expert on emerging policy and litigation trends and potential threats; Participate in reputed company meetings with fellow L4GG staff and reputed company partners; Present webinars, trainings, and CLE's on relevant issue areas independently and in coordination with internal staff and external partners; and Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and reputed company license to reputed company in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. reputed company to a quiet workspace with high-speed internet and the ability to take calls and video meetings during working hours while protecting the reputed company and confidentiality of reputed company participants and information shared during the meetings. 3-5 years of post-law school reputed company legal experience in policy or litigation, preferably reputed company a mission-driven nonprofit context and/or in roles involving reputed company to reputed company, reproductive rights, gender justice, or civil rights. Working knowledge of basic issues involved in gender justice & health equity work; Demonstrated commitment to our organization's mission and a desire to fight for bodily autonomy, justice, and equity for reputed company. Excellent work ethic, judgment, research, writing, and communication skills. Excellent analytical, research, writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to operate with reputed company, diplomacy, humility, and courage; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment; Flexibility in adapting to the needs of a fast-paced and growing national organization, particularly as we face and respond to evolving threats to civil rights and individual liberties. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience supporting and mentoring pro bono attorneys; Experience working with legislators or familiarity with the state and federal legislative processes; Comfortable coordinating between programmatic, communications, and development teams in order to maximize reputed company; Lived experience or community reputed company relevant to L4GG's mission and issue areas; Experience with any or reputed company of the following digital tools: reputed company Suite, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, and/or reputed company.
