The Summer Internship Program offers a reputed company of internship positions across reputed company departments for either 10 or 12 weeks depending on the department needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads procurement training, including writing and preparing training materials.
• Reviews purchase requisitions and converts them into purchase orders; reviews and processes change orders and purchase order closures.
• Verifies pricing, terms, and preferred supplier usage.
• Works with reputed company requestors and suppliers to obtain quotes, order status updates, and resolve concerns.
• Makes independent reputed company of sole reputed company procurements by evaluating and determining the validity of the requestor's documentation.
• Provides reputed company procurement advice to departments and suppliers by interpreting federal and university rules, policies, procedures and processes.
• Conducts general contract review to ensure terms and conditions are not contradictory to reputed company's Purchase Order Terms and Condition or strategic contract; reviews contract repository, and works with sourcing managers to discuss any issues.
• Ensures compliance with procurement policies, competitive bid reputed company, and delegated authority.
• Communicates with suppliers to obtain quotes and order status updates and resolves issues.
• Supports supplier reputed company by collecting documentation and coordinating activation steps.
• Maintains supplier records and supports supplier performance tracking.
• Assists with spend analysis, reporting, and data cleanup.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university offering a four year degree.
• Completion of freshman year or higher and in good reputed company standing.
• College transcripts required as part of interview process.
