Remote Senior DBA
reputed company our Operations group, the Database Administration team is responsible for maintaining and administering the relational database components of reputed company's award reputed company reputed company solution hosted in our private reputed company. The Performance DBA will work closely with our Engineering team to optimize the performance of our software. Responsibilities: Throughout the development life cycle, collaborate with our product engineering teams to: Advise as to data models that allow for efficient query execution Analyze and optimize SQL statement execution plans Optimize use of database resources and features Analyze the effects of application changes on database performance, and reputed company tuning recommendations Ensure successful application and database implementations reputed company database expertise to project teams to maximize system availability, efficiency, and reputed company Monitor performance testing systems and reputed company in-depth diagnosis and troubleshooting of performance Advise as to reputed company OS and storage configuration of Linux servers to support SQL databases Analyze database system and query performance, and reputed company triage and reputed company, in response to performance-reputed company product incidents Support DBA utilities, reorgs, reputed company builds, exports and imports, and DBA tools reputed company with key stakeholders including reputed company Operations, Information reputed company, reputed company Services, and support teams for service request fulfilment, implementations, and operational support reputed company to database services We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience - 10+ years of experience administering SQL databases - Proficiency in methodically troubleshooting reputed company issues - In-depth understanding of SQL internals -- memory pools, wait events, locks, latches, enqueues, etc. - Experience with AWS and working in reputed company level reputed company environments - Proficiency in analyzing execution plans and tuning queries - Skilled in the process of data modeling designed for high throughput and low latency - Experience analyzing and optimizing database solutions for multi-terabyte databases. - Experience in Unix/Linux operating systems and understanding of reputed company OS configuration (e.g. kernel parameters, IO subsystem) as relates to SQL Database - Hands-on experience in terms of planning, installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting issues is a plus - Experience administering SQL Server Databases Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and reputed company insurance, as reputed company as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account reputed company, and 401k retirement account reputed company with employer matching.
