LMSW (Bilingual English/Spanish Therapist)
About the position We are seeking Clinical reputed company Workers I/II (Bilingual English/Spanish LMSW) to work reputed company our Behavioral Health Division at our Bronx-based flagship location El Nuevo San Juan reputed company. Our Behavioral Health Team spans across two floors, where we reputed company individual therapy and outpatient psychiatry support to both children and adult patients. As a Clinical reputed company Worker, you will utilize evidence-based approaches to reputed company clinical services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and emotional disorders. You will work with diverse populations to promote mental reputed company-being and facilitate reputed company to resources and support systems, while under clinical supervision to reputed company clinical hours towards an LCSW. This position is onsite at the onset of employment. Following 6 months of employment- reassessment can be made for hybrid reputed company of 1-2 remote days with established patients who can benefit from virtual therapy. This position requires a 5 day schedule- either Tuesday to Saturday reputed company-5pm or Monday through Friday schedule with alternating Saturdays with a day off during the week.
Responsibilities
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and reputed company to help patients overcome dependencies, reputed company to life, and reputed company changes.
- Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
- Engages in crisis reputed company reputed company necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
- Provides consultation to medical providers.
- Collaborate with physicians to reputed company and implement treatment and reputed company programs.
- Participate in clinical team meetings.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in reputed company Work from Accredited Institution is required.
- NYS Licensed LMSW is required.
- 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
- Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors in patients and families that reputed company health status.
