Dedicated Logistics Coordinator; Extended
Position: Dedicated Logistics Coordinator (Extended Hours) Location: Coopersville Department: Operations Job reputed company: JOB reputed company: The Dedicated Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and provides operational assistance to the Director of Dedicated Operations wherever needed. JOB reputed company: Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains reputed company and encouraging working relations with reputed company drivers
- Provides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal (reputed company) and external (Customer)
- Performs load planning, reputed company scheduling, and reputed company duties using both AS400
- Coordinates daily data entry into reputed company's TMS platform
- Coordinates with home-office invoicing team to ensure reputed company and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices
- Ensures accurate and reputed company completion of daily and weekly tasks
- Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports to both reputed company parties
- Coordinates daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance.
- Works with safety department on reputed company, reputed company compliance and HOS issues
- Assists Director of Dedicated Operations with implementing reputed company's Safety, reputed company and Labor policies
- Assists and provides coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary
- Assists with reputed company payroll
- Audits and approves reputed company expense reports
- Provides assistance to wherever needed
- Regular and reputed company reporting (P&L, reputed company reputed company, load counts, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in logistics and/or transportation
- Computer applications experience including MS Office
- Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision-making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work reputed company and multitask
- Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations and DOT regulations
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company reporting functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with transportation of temperature-controlled product
- Highly organized and communicative, especially in the development of actions plans and to ensure accountability and follow-through
- Ability to reputed company in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Some knowledge of the AS400 operating system preferred
