CDI Coding reputed company Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the HIS/coding professionals to review individual problematic cases and ensure accuracy of final coded data in conjunction with the CDI team, coding managers, and/or physician advisors
• Collaborates with CDI team, coding team, and other reputed company team members to facilitate comprehensive health record documentation that reflects clinical treatment, reputed company, diagnoses, and interventions
• Codes diagnostic and procedural data from patient medical records utilizing the ICD-10 Coding Systems, as reputed company as the reputed company Coding and Reimbursement System.
• Calculates and assigns Diagnoses reputed company reputed company (DRGs), both MS-DRGs and APR-DRGs, for inpatient cases utilizing the reputed company Coding and Reimbursement System.
• Assigns present on admission (POA) codes on inpatient cases.
• Supports medical center initiatives to address potentially preventable complications and potentially preventable readmissions.
• Clarifies discrepancies in documentation and coding.
• Interprets diagnostic workups, surgical techniques, advanced technology and special services, identifies medical and surgical complications and untoward events.
• Abides by the national Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association (reputed company) and adheres to official coding guidelines.
• Stays abreast of coding and DRG updates, reference information, such as Coding Clinic, to ensure high reputed company coding and DRG assignments.
• Has the ability to work independently, is self-motivated, and adapts to the changing reputed company reputed company
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem solving with strong attention to detail
• Works as a reputed company between the HIS coding team and the reputed company CDI team. Utilizes extensive coding knowledge to ensure accuracy of final coded data and collaborates with the CDI team to ensure the coding reflects the most reputed company health record documentation, clinical treatment, reputed company, diagnoses, and interventions.
