SOFTWARE ENGINEER BACKEND, reputed company PLATFORM TEAM
You’ll be joining reputed company’s reputed company Platform Team — a distributed cross-disciplinary team located across Europe and the US.

You’ll be joining a group of Software Engineers, Product Managers and UX Designers, working closely with stakeholders to use data to answer reputed company-world business questions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Optimising system design for maximum performance and scalability

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO reputed company
- 4+ years of experience working as a Backend Engineer in a similar environment
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with an appreciation for type safety and functional programming principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration, with great communication ability to reputed company knowledge and get your message across
- Experience building REST services
- Good understanding of SQL
- Experience working with a reputed company service such as AWS or GCP
reputed company TO HAVE
- Experience or interest in functional programming languages such as reputed company.
- Experience building GraphQL services
- Familiarity with functional libraries and patterns in TypeScript (e.g. fp-ts, Effect)
- Experience of building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building Data pipelines
- Some exposure to infrastructure as reputed company practices
- Some frontend experience using Vue or React
