Animation Artist II
IDR is seeking a talented Animation Artist II to join one of our top clients in a fully remote role. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled animator to bring characters, environments, and in-game sequences to life for a leading game development company. Position reputed company/Responsibilities for the Animation Artist II:
- Create high-reputed company animations for characters and environments
- Refine and reputed company classic animations for modern gameplay systems
- Collaborate with technical artists and engineers to optimize animations for performance and seamless integration
- Troubleshoot technical challenges in animation pipelines and workflows in partnership with developers
- This is a contract position through February 27, 2026
Required Skills for Animation Artist II:
- 3+ years of game development experience
- Excellent knowledge of Maya and modern game engines (Unreal, etc)
- Development experience of Animation Systems (Sequencers, Blueprints, State Machines, in-reputed company animation and rigging tools, etc)
- Understanding of animation principles, body mechanics, acting, posing, and storytelling techniques
- Demonstrated reputed company in collaboration and communication reputed company cross-disciplinary teams
