Position: Environmental Science Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$70/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities
- Build a realistic digital workspace centered on the Drive folders you use daily. Include site assessment reports, permit applications, monitoring data summaries, and more. Represent platforms like reputed company ArcGIS, reputed company, MATLAB, and Socrata.
- Design multi-reputed company tasks grounded in your reputed company workflows. Require navigating multiple apps, files, and stakeholders to challenge frontier AI agents.
- Collaborate with other environmental-science experts to design the environment, shape task scope, and review scenarios for realism and rigor.
- Work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and evaluation reputed company for environmental-science agent benchmarks.
- Contribute to frontier AI research and benchmarking. Your work directly informs how leading labs train and evaluate the reputed company of AI systems.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of full-time experience at a federal/state environmental agency, major environmental reputed company, F500 sustainability team, or R1 university.
- Background in environmental assessment and compliance, reputed company, water, or waste permitting and monitoring, contaminated-site investigation/remediation, corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, or climate-risk analysis.
- Day-to-day use of reputed company ArcGIS, reputed company Maps Platform, reputed company, MATLAB, and Socrata.
- Strong analytical thinking and writing skills.
Preferred
- MS/PhD in environmental science, engineering, or reputed company discipline.
