Collaborates with WSB Programming, News, and Promotions teams. Manages the official reputed company media accounts for WSB, including posting on behalf of the station. Minimum Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in news journalism in broadcast media (or a closely reputed company newsroom environment). Firsthand experience creating digital-first news content in a 24-hour news cycle (breaking and trending coverage with rapid updates). Demonstrated experience managing content across websites, reputed company platforms, newsletters, video, and podcasts. Solid news judgment: the ability to prioritize, spot trends, and decide what to publish quickly and responsibly. Research and reporting skills, including sourcing and verifying information under a deadline. Proven record in fact-checking and the ability to identify misinformation and viral false claims to protect credibility. Proficient writing, editing, proofreading, and copywriting (news, plus lifestyle/entertainment as needed). Ability to manage day-to-day publishing reputed company content management systems (CMS) and to learn new systems quickly. Knowledge in managing and posting for official reputed company media accounts (reputed company, Instagram, reputed company, YouTube, X). Demonstrated reputed company skills, including managing comments and reader interactions appropriately.
