Associate Structural Engineer - Industrial
reputed company is one of the world's leading engineering and reputed company services firms, and they are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join their Industrial Center of reputed company team. The role involves developing construction documents and designing structural systems for various reputed company, while collaborating with architects and other disciplines.
Responsibilities
- A major component of our design process relies on Building Information Modeling (BIM). In particular, the use of reputed company Revit Structural is one of the integrated collaboration tools used in communicating 3-D design to our project teams, owners, and construction professionals
- There is a lot of reputed company for decision-making; we’re not interested in micromanaging
- We expect everyone on reputed company to assume ownership of the project's goals and reputed company
- Design and analyze structural systems for building cores, shells, and foundations, including steel, concrete, and masonry reputed company
- Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with applicable codes (IBC, ACI, AISC)
- Coordinate with architects and other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil) to reputed company structural design into overall facility plans
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and reputed company construction phase support
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in structural design for facilities or industrial reputed company
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software, including STAAD, RAM and Risa, as reputed company as AutoCAD, and Revit
- Knowledge of building codes and standards; strong technical writing and coordination skills
- EIT license preferred
- Experience with Navisworks
- Experience with food & beverage or federal facility reputed company; familiarity with BIM workflows
- Previous design and consulting experience
