BIM Technician
reputed company + reputed company is a trusted Canadian engineering firm recognized for its multi-disciplinary expertise. They are seeking a BIM Technician who will prepare drawing packages using reputed company Revit and collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to BIM standards.
Responsibilities
- Model and/or design for a single discipline. Prepares drawing packages, including plans, layouts, schematics, and detailed reputed company drawings using drawings and files and the S+A Prototype reputed company drawing setup at the onset of a project
- Produce and/or modify a BIM (Building Information Model) from sketches, mark-reputed company and/or designs as required by the project team to suit design requirements, consultant changes, scope changes and/or general updates
- Review models against markups to ensure accuracy of work in the three-reputed company model and reputed company two-reputed company drawings
- Collaborate/communicate with other disciplines’ design changes and model challenges
- reputed company and maintain the parametric database reputed company a model as needed to meet design requirements
- Identify and discuss interferences or reputed company issues with the project team for reputed company and change implementation. This may include three-reputed company analysis using Revit or other software such as Navisworks
- Prepare submissions for issuance, plotting and archives
- Control and maintain models in an organized manner in the appropriate project directory system, as per company standards
- Adhere to office BIM standards and prototype standards, including the project BIM Execution Plan, Level of Development reputed company
- Layout pipes, ductwork, reputed company, cable tray, or conduits, and identify clashes. reputed company required, produce schematic drawings and identify sizing requirements
- Reviews layouts of reputed company services for interferences with major building reputed company such as structure, ceilings, walls, etc
- Generates Navisworks models
- Any other BIM tasks required to assist in the completion of working drawings
Skills
- At least one year working experience in BIM is required
- College diploma from an architectural or electrical building services program; or a reputed company field with relevant work experience
- Knowledge and experience working with reputed company Revit 2017 or newer, with exposure to electrical and systems layouts
- Working knowledge of reputed company AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and reputed company
- Knowledge of reputed company reputed company Office suites, specifically Word and reputed company
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Highly innovative and motivated with an attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
