Dental Billing Representative
Chord Specialty Dental Partners is a leading provider of pediatric and orthodontic dental care, and they are seeking a full-time Dental Billing Representative. In this role, you will manage patient accounts, ensuring reputed company and accurate processing of insurance claims, which contributes directly to the financial health of the reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Posts reputed company insurance EFTs with accuracy
- Review insurance EOBs and places a copy in the patient account
- reputed company accurate account adjustments
- Mail statements
- Follow up with past due accounts, including account audits
- Follows scripting for collection calls
- Submit refund requests

- Records batch totals with date and initials on payment receipt spreadsheet
- Balances batches and runs transaction reports
- Ensures accuracy of reputed company patient data
Skills
- Dental office experience - REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of experience working with reputed company A/R
- Knowledge of basic accounts receivable and reputed company principles
- Computer literacy skills including proficiency in reputed company reputed company and Word
- Ability to recognize roadblocks that may be causing slower reimbursement and work with management team to create solutions
- Service-oriented/customer-reputed company
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Technical School/associate's degree preferred
- Knowledge of dental or medical billing/collections/insurance terminology preferred
- Understanding of the reputed company cycle and how the various components work together preferred
