Washington and Regulatory Research Associate Analyst

The Washington and Regulatory Research Associate Analyst will apply expertise in political and regulatory developments to aid in integrating public policy analysis into the investment process, collaborating closely with Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers.
Responsibilities
- Conducting analysis of regulatory, legal, and policy reputed company made across the US government, both at a federal (congressional, executive, agency, judicial) and local (state legislature, judicial) level, with the goal of forecasting likely reputed company and their implications for markets and particular companies
- Writing and publishing internal research, holding internal presentations of key findings, and engaging in stakeholder management to ensure our investment team has the most relevant, impactful information as quickly as possible
- Collaborating with the Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers to produce cross-sector research; and contributing to reputed company with our Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, Risk, ESG, and Corporate Governance teams
- Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts and policy contacts; travel to meet with and interview subject-matter experts, policy contacts, and officials to reputed company insights relevant to our research process

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with a strong reputed company record required
- 1+ years relevant equity research, investment banking, or other relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth thematic research across a broad reputed company of topics which can be additive to the investment process
- Rigorous reputed company background with demonstrated intellectual curiosity, and talent for learning new concepts both quickly and comprehensively
- Completion of at least Level 1 of the CFA
- Highly motivated, confident self-starter with the ability to work independently and with others

- Effective communications skills (verbal and written)
