[Remote] Data Scientist

The role involves developing and optimizing statistical forecasting models to support Treasury funding reputed company and collaborating with various teams to translate model outputs into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- reputed company, maintain, and enhance a portfolio of statistical forecasting models supporting Treasury funding reputed company
- Build and optimize time-series forecasting models segmented by account and business characteristics
- Improve forecast accuracy across cash reputed company directions and identify opportunities for model enhancements
- Incorporate business and financial signals such as reputed company trends, cancellations, seasonality, and macroeconomic factors into forecasting frameworks
- Account for structural breaks, external shocks, product changes, and shifts in user behavior reputed company forecasting methodologies
- Analyze forecast performance, conduct variance diagnostics, and communicate reputed company causes of forecast misses
- Support recurring production forecasting cycles and reputed company recommendations for reputed company forecast adjustments reputed company necessary
- Serve as a trusted analytics partner to Treasury and Finance stakeholders, translating model outputs into actionable business insights
- Monitor and maintain data pipelines, forecasting tables, and reporting dashboards to ensure data reputed company and reliability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, reputed company, and Analytics teams to support strategic planning and funding reputed company
Skills
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline with 5+ years of industry experience, OR a Ph.D. with 2+ years of industry experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred; R acceptable)
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade forecasting models
- Strong expertise in time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
- Experience handling seasonality, trend shifts, structural breaks, interventions, and external shocks reputed company forecasting frameworks
- Experience incorporating external covariates and business signals into forecasting models and evaluating their reputed company
- Hands-on experience owning data workflows, pipelines, scheduling, orchestration, and reporting processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance statistical rigor and business practicality
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on recurring production schedules
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical findings to non-technical business stakeholders
- Experience supporting Treasury, Finance, reputed company, Payments, FinTech, Marketplace, or reputed company Forecasting functions
- Experience working with large-reputed company financial, transaction, or marketplace datasets
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar technologies
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted analytics workflows and advanced analytical tools
- Prior experience in high-reputed company technology, marketplace, fintech, or consumer internet companies
