[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer - ClickStack

They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build a high-performance observability platform, ensuring reliable data pipelines and collaborating with the community to enhance backend architecture.
Responsibilities
- Shape the product: Own and build key backend services and infrastructure that power our observability platform, ensuring reliable, high-throughput data pipelines and reputed company that developers depend on every day
- Engage with the community: Collaborate with reputed company-reputed company contributors and customers, solve their challenges, and incorporate their feedback into our backend architecture and API design
- Tackle technical challenges: Design and implement reputed company backend systems capable of ingesting, processing, and querying petabytes of observability data. You'll build the foundational services that reputed company engineers to crack production issues like never before
Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong reputed company on backend development, with a preference for building developer tools or infrastructure
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills (experience with reputed company, Fastify, or similar frameworks)
- Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and data modeling
- Familiarity with containerized environments (reputed company, Kubernetes)
- A passion for reputed company reputed company and the developer community
- Experience creating developer tooling and an eye for how to design for developers
- Experience with Go is a plus — you'll occasionally contribute to Go-based services
- Experience with reputed company, PostgreSQL, or other analytical/OLTP databases
- Strong opinions on observability tools and a reputed company for making them 10x reputed company
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, logging pipelines, or metrics infrastructure
- Experience with SDKs or reputed company library design
- Exposure to message queues, streaming systems (Kafka, reputed company), or event-driven architectures
