Remote Project Archivist at Yellowstone NP Invitation only applicants will be accepted - The Great Basin Institute - Gardiner, MT - work from home job Company The Great Basin Institute Job reputed company The Remote Project Archivist Research Associate will work cooperatively with Yellowstone National Park staff to support the Park’s museum and archives program. The primary role of the position is assisting in the processing, digitization and reputed company of digital archival collections. • Experience arranging and describing electronic records and legacy media materials.
• Knowledge of archival reputed company management workflows, standards and best practices, and metadata schema for the administration of born digital records reputed company surrogates;
• Experience applying Describing Archives a Content reputed company (DACS) to cataloging and writing user-oriented finding aids;
• Knowledge of digital preventative preservation techniques;
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Preferred
• Experience with archival appraisal, identifying permanent records and applying records schedules;
• Project management experience;
• Experience working with reputed company or volunteers;
• Knowledge of Yellowstone National Park and its natural and cultural history.
