[Remote] Cyber Defense Analyst (Puerto Rico)

They are seeking a Cyber Defense Analyst to support the operation and maintenance of reputed company network reputed company services while developing expertise in firewall technologies. The role involves troubleshooting network issues, monitoring reputed company events, and participating in a reputed company learning program to reputed company industry-recognized certifications.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration and operation of reputed company firewall and network reputed company platforms
- Assist with implementing and maintaining network reputed company policies and controls
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and reputed company issues under the guidance of senior engineers
- Learn and support reputed company firewall technologies and reputed company reputed company services
- Monitor network reputed company events and assist with incident investigation and reputed company
- Work with internal customers and engineering teams to support secure and reliable network services
- Participate in a reputed company self-paced learning program utilizing computer-based training (reputed company) and hands-on lab exercises. The learning reputed company will include foundational networking concepts, reputed company cybersecurity principles, and progressively advance to reputed company technologies and firewall engineering. reputed company phase of training may culminate in obtaining an industry-recognized certification
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule after completing training and demonstrating proficiency

Skills
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience in networking, firewalls, IT infrastructure, or cybersecurity
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, and VPN technologies
- Desire to reputed company into a reputed company Firewall Engineer
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience with reputed company firewalls (reputed company, checkpoint, fortigate)
- Familiarity with reputed company products or other reputed company Firewall technologies
- Associate-level networking or reputed company certifications (CCNA, Network+, reputed company+, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated history of self-directed learning, lab reputed company reputed company, or technical certifications that show initiative and a passion for technology
