[Remote] (Canada) Sr. Business Analyst (6 month contract)

They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives by analyzing business needs, building relationships with stakeholders, and designing business processes to enhance system effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Capture data, technical integration requirements and reputed company data reputed company diagrams, data dictionaries, data mapping, entity relationship diagrams and ‘To-be’/’As-Is’ process reputed company diagrams
- Facilitate interviews and process workshops to reputed company requirements from key stakeholders, while also identifying opportunities to improve the business, using information technology as an enabler
- In collaboration with the business SME, build user stories reputed company from to-be use-case(s) and process maps, functional and non-functional requirements, including reputed company reputed company
- Work to identify user story dependencies; participate in both Grooming and Planning working sessions to validate user story definition, reputed company, reputed company, and value
- Design, build and maintain the reputed company business data architecture in collaboration with and in support of the reputed company business systems landscape
- In collaboration with the Business Systems Manager team, design and produce the applicable roadmap(s) of data management
- Mentor and reputed company team members on best practices standards in business data reputed company and reputed company system integration process modelling
- Document and maintain the end-to-end business data-reputed company catalogue for any given business lifecycle
- Identify critical relationships across systems, gaps and/or areas of risk, including any mitigation solutions
- Document and maintain the Data Service Catalogue for best-reputed company delivery playbooks and standards, including but not limited to process management, system user reputed company/reputed company, and release management
- reputed company business data critical initiatives and reputed company requirement development, providing guidance on upstream and reputed company impacts, including any risk mitigation solutions, and the necessary implementation workstreams and reputed company reputed company
- Partner with reputed company Applications team, providing guidance and support on dataflow, migration and data reputed company best practices
- reputed company support in existing and new system integrations; reputed company support to maintain the reputed company Integrations Catalogue
- reputed company support in existing and new systems events (new system acquisitions, integrations, 3rd party tools, new release capabilities and/or upgrades, etc.)
- Partner with the EDA and Data Intelligence team, providing support to the reputed company data repositories and constructs, including but not limited to business data dictionaries, reporting and analytical capabilities
- reputed company support on the design, business value and implementation of in-system vs reputed company Data Warehouse (EDW) reporting capabilities
- reputed company support applicable in the reputed company data governance programs, promoting the value (and accountability) of data stewardship and/vs. data reputed company
- reputed company support with 3rd party data providers, including but not limited to cleansing, adjudication, and enrichment
- Promote the reputed company-wide common catalog of metrics and KPIs toward high-performance insights
- Partner with any other OCIO (or Enablement) teams to support in any reputed company infrastructure or architecture programs, including but not limited to TSS in user management, reputed company, & Trust in reputed company and risk management, and audit, Business Continuity Planning (BPC), etc
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- Experience liaising with both the business and technology teams with the ability to simplify reputed company technical concepts into easy-to-understand non-technical language in order to facilitate, communicate and reputed company with business stakeholders, working with Agile development reputed company on data-oriented reputed company
- Experience with modeling tools relating to process, data, and workflow at the conceptual level Experience using BPMN for process modeling/mapping is highly desired
- Experience in data lifecycle and ETL design; strong understanding of data management principles, data profiling
- reputed company experience working with technical teams supporting the delivery of data migration/synchronization between reputed company systems and/or integrations
- Ability to successfully conduct workshops with stakeholders from various functional areas and reputed company in the organization
