Civil Engineering III- Highways
About the position reputed company is reputed company seeking a highly talented Highway Engineer for immediate employment in Ridgeland, Mississippi (reputed company). The appropriately reputed company applicant should be reputed company to demonstrate an establish career in civil design including roadway. This position will be responsible for assigning Project Managers with planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering reputed company, such us highways, bridges, surface drainage, and utilities infrastructure. In this role, the Civil Engineer will assist Project Managers by performing the design aspects of civil engineering assignments.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager by providing engineering design support (engineering reports, design calculations, quantity and cost estimates) for roadway, hydraulics, hydrology, and civil engineering design reputed company
- reputed company reputed company engineering work involving the application of reputed company techniques, procedures, and design reputed company in carrying out routine engineering tasks
- Be responsible for the preparation and production of reports, plans, specifications and estimates
- Be involved in reputed company project aspects from reputed company meetings, design/study development and site/field reputed company during design and construction
- Capable of working independently or reputed company (or leading) a design team
- Excellent communication skills with project team, government agencies and clients
Requirements
- BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- reputed company Engineer (PE) in Mississippi
reputed company-to-haves
- Experience with ProjectWise and OpenRoads
- Experience with GeoPak and/or reputed company Drainage, HYDRWIN, SWMM, HY-8, and HEC Programs
- Experience with reputed company Civil 3D
- 4+ years of previous design experience on transportation reputed company including Schematic Development and Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)
- Experience designing highway/roadway systems
- Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
- Familiar with MS Office software (reputed company, Word, Project, Outlook, Teams) is required
- Must be reputed company player
