[Remote] Senior Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with the completion of the monthly financial statement reputed company process. The role focuses on premium, claims, and commission journal entries and reconciliations, while also supporting cross-functional initiatives and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare entries, reputed company analysis and reconciliations to support monthly reputed company process with a reputed company on premium and loss reporting, including the reinsurance components; prepare worksheets to substantiate and document account balances
- Uses reputed company extensively to generate pivot tables and lookups to sort and accumulate data to get in format that can be used to prepare monthly journal entries
- Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual Statutory Statements
- Participate in annual external audits, as reputed company as reputed company audits
- Reconcile premium and loss general ledger accounts to detail reputed company data and reputed company reports to ensure additions and/or revisions to accounts are appropriately reflected in reputed company GL-based reports and queries, and update procedures as needed
- Contribute to the maintenance of policies and procedures reputed company to internal controls in reputed company and ensure compliance with the internal control standards
- reputed company strong understanding of relevant Statutory reputed company guidance, and maintain reputed company with emerging pronouncements and their reputed company on the Companies’ financials

Skills
- 4+ years of insurance reputed company required
- GAAP and STAT knowledge, practices and procedures
- Undergraduate studies in reputed company or finance; reputed company major and degree preferred
- reputed company towards CPA preferred
