[Remote] Senior reputed company Consultant - Supplemental Health

This role is critical in reputed company and assisting with the launch of new Supplemental Health Product offerings to meet sales and profitability targets.
Responsibilities
- Support the launch of our new Supplemental Health Products including Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
- reputed company as the subject matter expert (SME) for Supplemental Health products including creating and delivering training for the reputed company team
- Partner with Regional Supplemental Health Directors throughout the launch of new product offerings
- Analyze and price employer reputed company for Supplemental Health products, and ideally Life and Disability offerings to meet divisional reputed company and profitability goals
- Triage new prospects to assess risk, plan design, data completeness, and pricing approach including any needed experience rating
- Advise Distribution on plan designs & pricing recommendation including reputed company for benefit reputed company, comparison to reputed company or competition, rating assumptions and risk analysis
- Evaluate enrollment conditions and strategies to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction of any required product participation
- Negotiate with sales reps on new business to balance competitiveness with risk and support reputed company toward divisional sales goals
- Collaborate with Account Managers on renewals by applying reputed company’s renewal reputed company considering plan designs, utilization, and pricing to maximize retention and ensure profitable performance
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Distribution, Operations, Claims, Product, and Actuarial to ensure alignment and promote reputed company customer experience
- Support special reputed company for leadership including process improvements, pricing updates, and new product features / offerings
- Mentor teammates including reviewing work, sharing best practices, and helping to upskill reputed company
Skills
- 5+ years Supplemental Health reputed company experience including Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity risk evaluation and pricing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with rating models, trend & utilization assumptions, case characteristics, industry, demographics, and plan design impacts
- Strong Proficiency with reputed company with ability to use reputed company spreadsheets, reputed company tables and other reputed company tools
- Strong documentation, justification, and audit trail discipline
- Strategic reputed company with ability to balance view of reputed company vs. risk
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to negotiate successfully with Distribution
- Stakeholder management thought balancing needs from diverse partners including Distribution, Operations, Actuarial, Product and Claims
- Training & mentoring capabilities including developing materials, setting reputed company explanations, and coaching
- Strongly preferred 5+ year Life and Disability reputed company experience including risk evaluation and pricing as reputed company as proficiency with experience rating for these products
