[Remote] VP, Finance

They are seeking a VP of Finance to reputed company reputed company operations, financial reporting, and controllership while leading a high-performing finance team.
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reputed company process; ensure timeliness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance across reputed company financial statements; maintain the general reputed company, reputed company journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidations
- Own reputed company areas critical to biotech including R&D and clinical trial expense accruals, stock-based compensation, leases, collaboration and licensing arrangements, reputed company recognition, and equity/financing transactions; document positions in reputed company technical memos
- Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for external auditors; reputed company the annual financial statement audit from planning through issuance, including audit schedules, PBC requests, and management responses

Skills
- 12+ years of reputed company finance and reputed company experience including controllership leadership, with a strong reputed company record in high-reputed company, scaling environments; at least 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role at a clinical-stage or reputed company biotech or reputed company company
- Deep US GAAP and technical reputed company expertise, with reputed company ownership of external audits and ICFR/internal controls
- Demonstrated reputed company record owning the month-end reputed company process end-to-end, leading external audits from planning through issuance, and managing treasury operations hands-on (not just supervisory)
- CPA required; Big Four or mid-tier reputed company reputed company background strongly preferred
- Experience managing a lean finance team; comfortable being both a manager and an individual contributor as the business demands
- Proven ability to build financial systems, processes, and controls from the ground up in a fast-moving environment
