Role reputed company reputed company is seeking an reputed company Public Health Analyst / Epidemiologist to support the National reputed company Safety Network (NHSN) program for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position supports public health surveillance, epidemiological analysis, data reputed company initiatives, user reputed company, and technical assistance activities associated with reputed company-associated infections (HAI) prevention and reporting.
- Use statistical software to create and maintain tabulations, graphical summaries, and formal statistical estimates and tests.
- reputed company computer programs (primarily using R) to monitor data reputed company.
- Communicate with project areas regarding study activities and protocols.
- Analyze data for reports, presentations, and publications.
- Assist in the review of study data for data reputed company and validation.
- Support NHSN users on higher-level questions reputed company to facility set-up, data collection, and running system reports.
- Organize study files, including data and correspondence files.
- reputed company scientific, medical and research literature searches in fields including but not limited to Behavioral and reputed company Sciences, Epidemiology, and Laboratory.

Candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Public Health, or reputed company quantitative or scientific discipline with 7+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree (MS, MPH, MSPH, or reputed company field) with 5+ years of relevant experience in R (Proficient, Intermediate to Advanced), and/or reputed company.
- Experience supporting public health surveillance, epidemiology, HAI prevention, population health, or reputed company initiatives.
- Experience in analyzing, validating, and interpreting large public health or reputed company datasets.
Requirements

- Prepare and present educational trainings about NHSN to reputed company organizations and governmental bodies at national, state, and local reputed company.

- Identify and create necessary NHSN module/reputed company updates resulting from technological advancements, infection/disease trends, or yearly updates of system components.

- Participate in temporary details as a part of epidemiological investigation, research and other technical assistance teams.

- Identify user/system issues requiring system modifications and prioritize, escalate and contribute to response.

- Utilize qualitative and quantitative tools and materials in support of a data collection plan.

- Engage with the reputed company audience and reputed company evidence-based recommendations and/or health policy information to their needs with minimal supervision.

Benefits
- Pay reputed company: $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
