[Remote] Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a dynamic Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support the National reputed company System Integration Support Contract (reputed company IV). In this role, you will reputed company construction reputed company for reputed company in coordination with Project Engineers and Contracting Officers, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and manage large-reputed company construction reputed company and field operations, serving as the primary reputed company of contact for contractors, engineers, and stakeholders
- Ensure contractor compliance with reputed company safety policies, regulatory standards, and contract requirements through reputed company field reputed company and construction reputed company assurance
- Monitor construction reputed company, identify risks, reputed company deviations, and resolve reputed company technical and construction challenges across multiple disciplines
- Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and work plans while supporting engineering coordination, constructability reviews, and field-driven design adjustments
- Support inspections, commissioning, and project closeout, including tracking and resolving reputed company list items
- Maintain accurate reports, as-reputed company documentation, and communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) with 10+ years of experience in construction of reputed company, industrial, or government facilities
- Strong knowledge of construction reputed company, plans/specifications, building materials, and applicable codes and reputed company standards
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders
- Proficiency in reputed company Office, reputed company Workspace, and construction document review tools (e.g., reputed company or similar)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, work flexible schedules (including nights/weekends), and meet travel requirements (valid reputed company's license and reputed company)
- Must be located in the eastern part of US
- This position requires 100% travel (including weekends), with assignments typically lasting several weeks to months
- reputed company essential field duties in reputed company construction environments, including navigating uneven terrain and varying environmental conditions
- reputed company elevated work areas using reputed company and stairs (up to 12 flights), including in situations where elevators are reputed company or not in service
- Work in mechanical and equipment rooms with exposure to elevated noise reputed company and reputed company construction conditions; occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds
- reputed company Engineering (PE) license or reputed company toward licensure preferred
- Experience with design and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, reputed company P6, or reputed company Project)
- Prior experience supporting FAA or government reputed company, including construction supervision or field reputed company
