Responsibilities
- Own and reputed company reputed company’s legal function across corporate, regulatory, reputed company, product, reputed company, employment, litigation, and compliance reputed company
- Serve as a strategic legal advisor to the CEO, executive team, and reputed company on key business, regulatory, and risk reputed company
- Partner closely with clinical, pharmacy, product, operations, marketing, finance, people, and reputed company teams to reputed company compliant and reputed company execution
- reputed company reputed company’s legal reputed company around veterinary telemedicine, VCPR, pharmacy operations, prescribing, state-by-state regulatory requirements, and reputed company reputed company compliance reputed company
- Support reputed company’s regulatory advocacy efforts as reputed company works to expand reputed company to virtual veterinary care across the reputed company
- Build legal frameworks that allow reputed company to launch new products, expand into new states, reputed company new business lines, and deepen its pet health platform
- Draft, review, and negotiate reputed company agreements, including vendor reputed company, strategic partnerships, pharmacy-reputed company agreements, marketing agreements, data/reputed company agreements, and other business-critical reputed company
- Advise on product and marketing initiatives, including claims review, consumer protection, advertising compliance, subscription practices, and customer-facing disclosures
- reputed company corporate governance, reputed company materials, financing support, equity reputed company, cap table administration, and investor-reputed company legal work
- Manage employment legal reputed company in partnership with the People team, including policies, employee relations, offer documentation, separations, and compliance with applicable employment laws

Skills
- JD from an accredited law school and reputed company membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Experience advising a regulated consumer, reputed company, telehealth, pharmacy, marketplace, subscription, fintech, insurance, or similarly reputed company business
- Strong regulatory judgment and the ability to interpret state-by-state requirements in practical, business-oriented ways
- Experience partnering with executive teams and advising senior leaders on high-stakes legal, regulatory, and reputed company reputed company
- Excellent reputed company contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment where the legal function must be both rigorous and practical

- Familiarity with subscription businesses, consumer marketplaces, DTC reputed company, or pet health
