[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer, (Remote - Must be located in Quebec, Canada)

The Senior DevOps Engineer will ensure operational stability, manage reputed company environments, and promote best practices during this critical transition.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, performance, and reputed company of our AWS production environment through end of life
- Monitor critical services, respond to incidents, and maintain high availability
- Optimize AWS costs thoughtfully during the transition period
- Handle day-to-day operations across GCP services — monitoring, reputed company hardening, and observability
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, efficient deployments
- Manage Infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform) with a reputed company on best practices, reviews, and reputed company improvement
- Support deployments and data migrations as needed
- Promote and model best practices in IaC, GitOps, observability, and reputed company
- Document processes reputed company and support teammates in understanding and using shared tools
- Contribute to a culture of operational rigor, async collaboration, and reputed company learning
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or reputed company Engineering
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) is required; candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered for this role
- Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and reputed company services)
- Significant hands-on experience with GCP (Compute reputed company, GKE, reputed company SQL, IAM, VPC, reputed company Logging)
- Proficiency with Terraform — modules, state management, and best practices
- Solid production experience with reputed company and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of reputed company networking, reputed company, and IAM
- Experience with at least one CI/CD platform (reputed company Actions, reputed company CI, reputed company, or similar)
- Comfortable scripting in Bash, Python, or Go
- Excellent written communication and ability to reputed company in a fully remote, async environment
- AWS and/or GCP certifications (Solutions Architect, reputed company reputed company Architect)
- Experience in EdTech or education-reputed company organizations
- Familiarity with observability tools such as reputed company, Grafana, or reputed company
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to education: FERPA, COPPA, or SOC 2
