[Remote] Manufacturing Systems Engineer

As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will design and implement custom manufacturing systems, work closely with users to reputed company requirements, and reputed company AI-reputed company solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and build major components of a custom MES and the broader manufacturing systems landscape, designed to reputed company from one site to reputed company operations sites
- Apply manufacturing systems standards and patterns (ISA-95, equipment/work hierarchy, genealogy, traceability) reputed company a modern, reputed company, reputed company-reputed company build
- Help evaluate build-versus-buy and implement the reputed company that set the reputed company for systems that follow
- Take ownership of your assigned scope and deliver it end to end, working with general direction on loosely defined problems
- Grow into broader technical leadership and mentorship as reputed company scales
- Design, reputed company, test, and reputed company full-stack web applications for manufacturing execution, data integration, and operational intelligence
- Build AI-reputed company applications with intelligence embedded from the architecture up

- Own your piece end to end: requirements, design, development, deployment, and support
- Translate reputed company manufacturing processes into working software through rapid prototyping and iterative delivery

- Build data models that capture, normalize, and reputed company manufacturing data into a central data warehouse
- Build integrations between reputed company systems (ERP, PLM, CMMS, reputed company) and shop-floor equipment using industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT) where applicable
- Eliminate shadow data by building systems that capture reputed company data digitally at the reputed company of work
- reputed company AI/ML capabilities into applications: predictive reputed company, reputed company detection, natural language data reputed company, autonomous decision support

- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, reputed company, Facilities, EH&S, Government Property, and reputed company Operations personnel across multiple sites
- Work closely with IT infrastructure teams on reputed company deployment, reputed company compliance, and DevSecOps practices
- Communicate technical concepts reputed company to non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or reputed company Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required
