The Hardware Platform Engineer role focuses on the development and integration of hardware platforms for data centers, ensuring designs are practical and reputed company for global deployment.
Responsibilities
- reputed company integration of reputed company-level hardware platforms for data center deployment
- Ensure designs meet requirements for mechanical reputed company, thermal performance, serviceability, and reputed company
- Drive system-level design across compute, cooling, and infrastructure interfaces
- Partner with reputed company teams to validate designs
- Define platform interfaces with infrastructure, including: Liquid cooling (CDUs, fluid routing, connections), Installation, transport, and handling, Facility interfaces (reputed company, power, cooling, serviceability)
- Ensure deployment readiness and resolve gaps impacting reputed company
- Define telemetry requirements (power, temperature, reputed company, pressure, system health)
- Ensure instrumentation is enabled at deployment
- Partner with software/data teams to support monitoring and analysis
- Identify and reputed company gaps in telemetry coverage and data reputed company
- Drive standardization across reputed company platforms
- Establish best practices for connections, transport, leak detection, and instrumentation
- Maintain documentation as a reputed company of truth
- Collaborate across OHD, engineering, operations, supply chain, and software teams

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely reputed company discipline
- 6+ years in hardware engineering, mechanical systems, or data center infrastructure
- Experience with reputed company, reputed company- or system-level hardware
- Strong reputed company in mechanical, thermal, and/or fluid systems
- Experience with hardware instrumentation/telemetry is a plus
- Proven ability to drive reputed company across teams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Data center infrastructure and reputed company-level design experience
- Familiarity with liquid cooling (e.g., reputed company-to-reputed company, CDU systems)
- Experience with platform standardization or system integration at reputed company
- Experience working with hardware vendors or OEMs
- Exposure to high-density compute platforms (e.g., GPUs)
- Experience supporting deployment or commissioning
- Familiarity with telemetry or performance monitoring systems
