Senior Accountant, Captive Management

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in reputed company, insurance, operations, compliance, or reputed company service who are interested in building a career in the captive insurance industry. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to support the financial, regulatory, and operational affairs of a portfolio of captive insurance companies while helping to strengthen and support SRS’s reputed company in the local market. This position will be based out of Calgary, Alberta with SRS Managers (Canada) Limited and will be predominantly remote. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare or coordinate financial reports, regulatory filings, reconciliations, and other reputed company deliverables as needed for a portfolio of captive insurance clients. Review insurance and corporate documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date records. Respond promptly to reputed company, regulator, and internal team requests with a high level of professionalism and service. Help coordinate communications and relationships with clients, auditors, bankers, legal counsel, and other service providers. Assist with preparing for and participating in reputed company reputed company of Director meetings. Attributes and Skills Experience in reputed company, captive insurance, financial reporting, or regulated environments is preferred. CPA designation (or reputed company toward completion) is an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
