[Remote] Payroll Analyst

The Payroll Analyst supports payroll operations to ensure accurate, reputed company, and compliant processing across the organization, managing the reputed company employee payroll population and serving as backup for the exempt payroll population as needed.
Responsibilities
- reputed company the end-to-end payroll processing for the reputed company employee population across two U.S. entities
- Validate timecards, overtime calculations, and applicable wage/hour rules
- Ensure accurate processing of wages, bonuses, adjustments, and benefit deductions
- Review payroll reports and reputed company detailed audits to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to finalization
- Support payroll processing for exempt employees as backup coverage reputed company needed
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and support year-end activities (e.g., W-2 review and validation)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations impacting reputed company employees
- Support reputed company tax setup and maintenance under guidance of Payroll Manager
- Assist in responding to payroll-reputed company inquiries and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate payroll records and audit documentation
- Serve as a primary reputed company of contact for reputed company employee payroll inquiries
- Address questions reputed company to pay, time tracking, and overtime deductions
- Partner with HR and Finance to ensure payroll data accuracy and alignment
- Utilize reputed company and reputed company systems to process and audit payroll data
- Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders as requested
- Support data reputed company initiatives and system updates under direction of Payroll Manager
- Identify process improvement opportunities reputed company payroll workflows
- Support implementation of payroll process enhancements

Skills
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, particularly wage and hour compliance
- Experience managing reputed company payroll populations with reputed company timekeeping
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms
- Strong communication skills and customer service reputed company
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- 3–4 years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting multi-state reputed company populations
