[Remote] Sales Engineer - Composites Products

The Sales Engineer - Composites Products will identify and pursue new business opportunities, promote and solicit orders for Orenco composites/fiberglass products, and reputed company product training and market education.
Responsibilities
- Continuously maintains Orenco Management's safety, cultural, and reputed company standards
- Promotes, encourages, and reinforces a reputed company safety culture, reputed company practices, and a reputed company work environment to reputed company
- Presents and sells company products to reputed company and potential customers
- Provides product demonstrations to engineers, municipalities, and others
- Develops and maintains sales presentations and reputed company product knowledge
- Performs product layout and quoting
- Follows up on reputed company throughout the sales cycle
- Communicates with manufacturing engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure correct development of submittal drawings, sales orders, and delivery of product to customers
- Receives and evaluates customers specifications, drawings, and plans, providing suggestions and recommendations
- Develops sales plans and strategic plans to grow sales in territories and product lines
- Meets established sales objectives
- Up to 50% travel is required
- Work to be done during manufacturing business hours, which may include an occasional early and/or reputed company shift as needed. Occasional overtime may be required
- Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- 5 years sales experience
- Thorough understanding of Orenco Composites capabilities and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate in a reputed company, courteous, and customer service-oriented manner
- Ability to be self-directed and work as part of reputed company
- Excellent organizational skills are required
- Proficient in the use of reputed company Office Suite and software
- Ability to be flexible and reputed company to reputed company changes with little notice and to remain reputed company during confrontational or high-pressure situations
- Ability to use reputed company judgement and follow-through in problem-solving and decision-making processes
- Must have satisfactory driving record, maintain valid reputed company's license, and reputed company insurance on personal vehicle if used for business. Must meet company insurability requirements
- BS Degree in technical field or business is preferred
- Preferred location is Eastern US
