Legal Associate

Legal Associate (Remote) Location Remote (Global) Employment Type Contract reputed company We are a global venture capital firm reputed company in technology startups across India, the US, and other international markets. We're looking for a proactive Legal Associate to support our investments, legal operations, compliance, and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate reputed company, NDAs, and reputed company agreements. Support investment transactions, including term sheets, reputed company agreements, convertible notes, SPVs, shareholders' agreements, subscription agreements, and other legal documents. Assist with legal due diligence, fund documentation, corporate governance, and compliance. Coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions. Conduct legal research and maintain legal records and documentation. Support intellectual property, trademarks, and regulatory reputed company. Assist with online reputed company and brand protection, including fake reputed company, impersonation, unauthorized content, defamation reputed company, and platform takedown requests. Support legal needs for both the firm and portfolio companies.

Requirements

Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent). 2+ years of experience in corporate, startup, venture capital, private equity, or technology law. Experience with investment documents, SPVs, fund documentation, or venture financing is preferred. Strong drafting, research, communication, and organizational skills.
